Cafe Elise in Wuppertal

Actually nice, BUT! We were there about an hour before closing at 7 p.m. We were informed of this immediately upon ordering. You didn't feel welcome. The toilets are horrible ...

It was really a nice stay

I often visit this cozy café in connection with a walk across the Hardt. The breakfast (especially the breakfast "Elise" for 2) is very tasty, in the afternoon there is a selection of delicious (also vegan) cakes and in the evening you can eat very well here. Unfortunately, there are no fresh waffles this autumn, which I used to treat myself to on Sunday afternoons. In Wuppertal, this café is definitely one of the top 10!

Location u staff nice. Various dishes are definitely okay too. But cross the currywurst off the menu. Besides "cold" it was everything else besides the fries. You'd think that Aldi served a Glasbockwurst with the spaghetti sauce lukewarm. That was the scariest currywurst ever. If this is a trendy dish, please rename it. Lukewarm sausage in a fruity tomato sauce, flanked by french fries with a hint of majo.

Very nice cafe on the Hardt with a cozy beer garden. The food and the cake are delicious. The staff is friendly. There is one point deduction for the loud acoustics.

I like to visit Café Elise, no matter what I've eaten in the café so far, it was always extremely tasty. The dishes on the daily menu are always great. The cake is freshly baked and there are always vegan alternatives to choose from. The café is rustic and the atmosphere inside and outside is pleasant. The café is not very big, so it is of course a little louder when all the seats are occupied, which I find absolutely normal.

Nice beer bar to relax with shady spots and also 2 beach chairs. Simple kitchen.

In the farmers salad exquisitely good ingredients, the additionally ordered bread (rolls) was included in the price, the green tea was poured a second time free of charge, great service, affordable. My recommendation!

Been there for the first time in over 25 years. The café in this form did not exist yet, but at that time I would have wished that this café had existed in my time! Would have gotten rid of a few euros for the treats !!! Service was very courteous and friendly ....

In good weather, definitely sit on the terrace. On the menu you can even find vegan dishes. The cake selection is great. I recommend the cheese poppy cake. The service is friendly and relaxed. However, you should expect a long wait even if the cafe is not full but so you can enjoy the nice weather longer.

Nice cafe with delicious pastries.

Great spot for a date or a casual coffee with a friend. It has this special ambience that makes it unique. I feel like it attracts rather non judgmental people as well. The coffee was not as delicious as I have expected but i am a picky coffee drinker.

Cozy café in the middle of the park in Wuppertal on the Hardt. The decor is really cute and there is enough seating inside and outside. Of course the café is very busy, but the service is mostly friendly, You only notice in some people that she is a little stressed and then spills the tea. But it would be brought back immediately and we didn't really have to wait long for the cake. The kitchen selection is very large and varied. There are even vegan, gluten-free and sugar-free cakes on offer, which I also find very good on the menu. Whether for lunch or coffee and cake, you can sit there in a very nice atmosphere.

Beautiful place. Right next to the botanical gardens, in the midst of park Hardt it is the perfect place to have a great coffee and delicious food.
